Students supported through Hand in Hand India’s education initiatives achieved commendable results in the SSLC Board Examinations, reflecting their hard work, determination and the impact of sustained academic support. Across Hand in Hand India-supported Transit Schools, 32 of 48 students successfully passed the examinations    despite facing significant socio-economic challenges. Mahatma  Gandhi Matric Hr. Sec. School, Kaliyanoor, recorded an outstanding 100% pass rate, with all 19 students clearing the examination and 11 scoring above 400. Students from the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) also delivered impressive results, with 49 of 52 students passing and achieving a 94% pass percentage. Vishnupriya from Mulanoor KGBV emerged as the top scorer with 485 out of 500 marks, while Vaishnavi from Ammapettai KGBV secured the highest score in her school with 422. These achievements highlight the effectiveness of academic mentoring, remedial education and a supportive learning environment in helping children from underserved communities realise their educational aspirations.
